Sheopur

Sheopur is a district in the Madhya Pradesh State of India. Total area of Sheopur is 6,606 km² including 6,565.52 km² rural area and 40.48 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Sheopur has a population of 6,87,861 peoples, out of which urban population is 1,07,352 while rural population is 5,80,509. Sheopur has a sex ratio of approximately 901 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 104.1 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 1,46,043 houses in the district, including 20,521 urban houses and 1,25,522 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 516 villages in sheopur district.
