Shivpuri

Shivpuri is a district in the Madhya Pradesh State of India. Total area of Shivpuri is 10,066 km² including 9,946.38 km² rural area and 119.62 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Shivpuri has a population of 17,26,050 peoples, out of which urban population is 2,95,423 while rural population is 14,30,627. Shivpuri has a sex ratio of approximately 876 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 171.5 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 3,59,969 houses in the district, including 55,682 urban houses and 3,04,287 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 1,305 villages in shivpuri district.
