Singrauli is a district in the Madhya Pradesh State of India. Total area of Singrauli is 5,675 km² including 5,384.80 km² rural area and 290.20 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Singrauli has a population of 11,78,273 peoples, out of which urban population is 2,26,786 while rural population is 9,51,487. Singrauli has a sex ratio of approximately 920 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 207.6 inhabitants per square kilometre.
