Ahmadnagar
Ahmadnagar is a district in the Maharashtra State of India. Total area of Ahmadnagar is 17,048 km² including 16,581.43 km² rural area and 466.57 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Ahmadnagar has a population of 45,43,159 peoples, out of which urban population is 9,12,617 while rural population is 36,30,542. Ahmadnagar has a sex ratio of approximately 939 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 266.5 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 9,30,024 houses in the district, including 1,90,941 urban houses and 7,39,083 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 1,581 villages in ahmadnagar district.
