Bid

Bid is a district in the Maharashtra State of India. Total area of Bid is 10,693 km² including 10,534.69 km² rural area and 158.31 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Bid has a population of 25,85,049 peoples, out of which urban population is 5,14,298 while rural population is 20,70,751. Bid has a sex ratio of approximately 916 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 241.8 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 5,35,835 houses in the district, including 1,00,247 urban houses and 4,35,588 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 1,357 villages in bid district.
