Dhule

Dhule is a district in the Maharashtra State of India. Total area of Dhule is 7,195 km² including 7,078.33 km² rural area and 116.67 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Dhule has a population of 20,50,862 peoples, out of which urban population is 5,71,036 while rural population is 14,79,826. Dhule has a sex ratio of approximately 945 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 285 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 4,08,874 houses in the district, including 1,12,157 urban houses and 2,96,717 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 674 villages in dhule district.

The Dhule district is further divided in to Tehsils / Blocks / PS / Community Development Blocks (C.D.Blocks) for administrative purposes.
