Chandel

Chandel is a district in the Manipur State of India. Total area of Chandel is 3,313 km² including 3,312.00 km² rural area and 1.00 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Chandel has a population of 1,44,182 peoples, out of which urban population is 16,847 while rural population is 1,27,335. Chandel has a sex ratio of approximately 933 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 43.52 inhabitants per square kilometre.
