Imphal West is a district in the Manipur State of India. Total area of Imphal West is 519 km² including 449.82 km² rural area and 69.18 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Imphal West has a population of 5,17,992 peoples, out of which urban population is 3,22,879 while rural population is 1,95,113. The district has a population density of 998.1 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 1,11,156 houses in the district, including 69,561 urban houses and 41,595 rural houses.
