Imphal West is a district in the Manipur State of India. Total area of Imphal West is 519 km² including 449.82 km² rural area and 69.18 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Imphal West has a population of 5,17,992 peoples, out of which urban population is 3,22,879 while rural population is 1,95,113. Imphal West has a sex ratio of approximately 1030 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 998.1 inhabitants per square kilometre.
