Aizawl
Aizawl is a district in the Mizoram State of India. Total area of Aizawl is 3,576 km² including 3,400.00 km² rural area and 176.00 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Aizawl has a population of 4,00,309 peoples, out of which urban population is 3,14,754 while rural population is 85,555. Aizawl has a sex ratio of approximately 1008 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 111.9 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 82,524 houses in the district, including 65,196 urban houses and 17,328 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 94 villages in aizawl district.
