Lawngtlai is a district in the Mizoram State of India. Total area of Lawngtlai is 2,557 km². As per 2011 stats, Lawngtlai has a population of 1,17,894 peoples, out of which urban population is 20,830 while rural population is 97,064. The district has a population density of 46.11 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 22,984 houses in the district, including 3,910 urban houses and 19,074 rural houses.
