Lawngtlai

Lawngtlai is a district in the Mizoram State of India. Total area of Lawngtlai is 2,557 km². As per 2011 stats, Lawngtlai has a population of 1,17,894 peoples, out of which urban population is 20,830 while rural population is 97,064. Lawngtlai has a sex ratio of approximately 945 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 46.11 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 22,984 houses in the district, including 3,910 urban houses and 19,074 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 159 villages in lawngtlai district.
