Saiha

Saiha is a district in the Mizoram State of India. Total area of Saiha is 1,399 km² including 1,346.00 km² rural area and 53.00 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Saiha has a population of 56,574 peoples, out of which urban population is 25,110 while rural population is 31,464. Saiha has a sex ratio of approximately 978 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 40.44 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 11,144 houses in the district, including 4,607 urban houses and 6,537 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 52 villages in saiha district.

The Saiha district is further divided in to Subdivisions / Blocks / PS / Community Development Blocks (C.D.Blocks) for administrative purposes.
