Dimapur

Dimapur is a district in the Nagaland State of India. Total area of Dimapur is 927 km² including 859.87 km² rural area and 67.13 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Dimapur has a population of 3,78,811 peoples, out of which urban population is 1,97,869 while rural population is 1,80,942. Dimapur has a sex ratio of approximately 919 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 408.6 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 78,605 houses in the district, including 42,100 urban houses and 36,505 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 219 villages in dimapur district.
