Dimapur is a district in the Nagaland State of India. Total area of Dimapur is 927 km² including 859.87 km² rural area and 67.13 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Dimapur has a population of 3,78,811 peoples, out of which urban population is 1,97,869 while rural population is 1,80,942. The district has a population density of 408.6 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 78,605 houses in the district, including 42,100 urban houses and 36,505 rural houses.
