Anugul
Anugul is a district in the Odisha State of India. Total area of Anugul is 6,375 km² including 6,198.12 km² rural area and 176.88 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Anugul has a population of 12,73,821 peoples, out of which urban population is 2,06,546 while rural population is 10,67,275. Anugul has a sex ratio of approximately 942 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 199.8 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 2,97,050 houses in the district, including 47,317 urban houses and 2,49,733 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 1,654 villages in anugul district.
The Anugul district is further divided in to Tehsils / Blocks / PS / Community Development Blocks (C.D.Blocks) for administrative purposes.
