Balangir District, Odisha
Balangir District is an administrative district in the state of Odisha, India. It is situated about 320 km from Bhubaneswar, the state capital of Odisha. The district headquarters is located at Balangir. Odia is the main language spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 6,575 km², including 6,474.29 km² of rural area and 100.71 km² of urban area.
