Jharsuguda

Jharsuguda is a district in the Odisha State of India. Total area of Jharsuguda is 2,114 km² including 1,955.41 km² rural area and 158.59 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Jharsuguda has a population of 5,79,505 peoples, out of which urban population is 2,31,165 while rural population is 3,48,340. Jharsuguda has a sex ratio of approximately 953 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 274.1 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 1,36,061 houses in the district, including 51,774 urban houses and 84,287 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 347 villages in jharsuguda district.
