Kalahandi
Kalahandi is a district in the Odisha State of India. Total area of Kalahandi is 7,920 km² including 7,865.31 km² rural area and 54.69 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Kalahandi has a population of 15,76,869 peoples, out of which urban population is 1,21,987 while rural population is 14,54,882. Kalahandi has a sex ratio of approximately 1003 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 199.1 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 4,01,251 houses in the district, including 27,947 urban houses and 3,73,304 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 2,116 villages in kalahandi district.
