Kandhamal
Kandhamal is a district in the Odisha State of India. Total area of Kandhamal is 8,021 km² including 7,969.26 km² rural area and 51.74 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Kandhamal has a population of 7,33,110 peoples, out of which urban population is 72,279 while rural population is 6,60,831. Kandhamal has a sex ratio of approximately 1036 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 91.4 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 1,72,022 houses in the district, including 16,766 urban houses and 1,55,256 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 2,417 villages in kandhamal district.
