Malkangiri

Malkangiri is a district in the Odisha State of India. Total area of Malkangiri is 5,791 km² including 5,766.32 km² rural area and 24.68 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Malkangiri has a population of 6,13,192 peoples, out of which urban population is 49,528 while rural population is 5,63,664. Malkangiri has a sex ratio of approximately 1019 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 105.9 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 1,37,599 houses in the district, including 11,374 urban houses and 1,26,225 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 995 villages in malkangiri district.
