Puri District, Odisha

Puri District is an administrative district in the state of Odisha, India. It is situated about 60 km from Bhubaneswar, the state capital of Odisha. The district headquarters is located at Puri. Odia is the main language spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 3,479 km², including 3,391.09 km² of rural area and 87.91 km² of urban area.
