Subarnapur is a district in the Odisha State of India. Total area of Subarnapur is 2,337 km² including 2,284.21 km² rural area and 52.79 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Subarnapur has a population of 6,10,183 peoples, out of which urban population is 49,941 while rural population is 5,60,242. Subarnapur has a sex ratio of approximately 960 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 261.1 inhabitants per square kilometre.
