Moga

Moga is a district in the Punjab State of India. Total area of Moga is 2,242 km² including 2,192.35 km² rural area and 49.65 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Moga has a population of 9,95,746 peoples, out of which urban population is 2,27,246 while rural population is 7,68,500. Moga has a sex ratio of approximately 893 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 444 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 1,93,256 houses in the district, including 45,958 urban houses and 1,47,298 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 319 villages in moga district.
