Cuddalore District, Tamil Nadu

Cuddalore District is an administrative district in the state of Tamil Nadu, India. It is situated about 195 km from Chennai, the state capital of Tamil Nadu. The district headquarters is located at Cuddalore. Tamil is the main language spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 3,703 km², including 3,243.69 km² of rural area and 459.31 km² of urban area.
