Cuddalore

Cuddalore is a district in the Tamil Nadu State of India. Total area of Cuddalore is 3,703 km² including 3,243.69 km² rural area and 459.31 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Cuddalore has a population of 26,05,914 peoples, out of which urban population is 8,85,189 while rural population is 17,20,725. Cuddalore has a sex ratio of approximately 986 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 704 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 6,35,578 houses in the district, including 2,12,105 urban houses and 4,23,473 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 799 villages in cuddalore district.
