Kanniyakumari

Kanniyakumari is a district in the Tamil Nadu State of India. Total area of Kanniyakumari is 1,684 km² including 1,021.16 km² rural area and 662.84 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Kanniyakumari has a population of 18,70,374 peoples, out of which urban population is 15,39,802 while rural population is 3,30,572. Kanniyakumari has a sex ratio of approximately 1019 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 1111 inhabitants per square kilometre.
