Pudukkottai District, Tamil Nadu

Pudukkottai is an administrative district in Tamil Nadu, India. The district is located about 380 km from Chennai, the capital of Tamil Nadu. Its administrative headquarters is in Pudukkottai. Tamil is the major language spoken in the district. The district covers a total area of 4,644 km², including 4,475.07 km² of rural area and 168.93 km² of urban area.
