Sivaganga

Sivaganga is a district in the Tamil Nadu State of India. Total area of Sivaganga is 4,233 km² including 4,056.34 km² rural area and 176.66 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Sivaganga has a population of 13,39,101 peoples, out of which urban population is 4,12,845 while rural population is 9,26,256. Sivaganga has a sex ratio of approximately 1002 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 316 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 3,38,938 houses in the district, including 1,04,425 urban houses and 2,34,513 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 508 villages in sivaganga district.
