Thanjavur

Thanjavur is a district in the Tamil Nadu State of India. Total area of Thanjavur is 3,411 km² including 3,044.54 km² rural area and 366.46 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Thanjavur has a population of 24,05,890 peoples, out of which urban population is 8,51,359 while rural population is 15,54,531. Thanjavur has a sex ratio of approximately 1034 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 705 inhabitants per square kilometre.
