Thiruvallur is a district in the Tamil Nadu State of India. Total area of Thiruvallur is 3,394 km² including 2,856.34 km² rural area and 537.66 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Thiruvallur has a population of 37,28,104 peoples, out of which urban population is 24,28,395 while rural population is 12,99,709.
