Thoothukkudi
Thoothukkudi is a district in the Tamil Nadu State of India. Total area of Thoothukkudi is 4,745 km² including 4,330.20 km² rural area and 414.80 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Thoothukkudi has a population of 17,50,176 peoples, out of which urban population is 8,76,802 while rural population is 8,73,374. Thoothukkudi has a sex ratio of approximately 1023 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 369 inhabitants per square kilometre.
