Tiruchirappalli District, Tamil Nadu

Tiruchirappalli District is an administrative district in the state of Tamil Nadu, India. It is situated about 330 km from Chennai, the state capital of Tamil Nadu. The district headquarters is located at Tiruchirappalli. Tamil is the main language spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 4,509 km², including 4,042.74 km² of rural area and 466.26 km² of urban area.
