Viluppuram District, Tamil Nadu
Viluppuram is an administrative district in Tamil Nadu, India. The district is located about 165 km from Chennai, the capital of Tamil Nadu. Its administrative headquarters is in Viluppuram. Tamil is the major language spoken in the district. The district covers a total area of 7,194 km², including 6,992.66 km² of rural area and 201.34 km² of urban area.
