Basti
Basti is a district in the Uttar_pradesh State of India. Total area of Basti is 2,688 km² including 2,662.04 km² rural area and 25.96 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Basti has a population of 24,64,464 peoples, out of which urban population is 1,38,097 while rural population is 23,26,367. Basti has a sex ratio of approximately 963 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 917 inhabitants per square kilometre.
