Tehri Garhwal is a district in the Uttarakhand State of India. Total area of Tehri Garhwal is 3,642 km² including 3,575.89 km² rural area and 66.11 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Tehri Garhwal has a population of 6,18,931 peoples, out of which urban population is 70,139 while rural population is 5,48,792.
