Krishna
Krishna is a district in the Andhra Pradesh State of India. The total area of Krishna district is 8,727 km², which includes 8,363.15 km² of rural area and 363.85 km² of urban area. There are about 934 villages in Krishna district.
For administrative convenience, Krishna district is divided into Tehsils, Blocks, PS, and Community Development Blocks (C.D. Blocks). In many states, Blocks or C.D. Blocks are treated the same as tehsils, though they may have slightly different roles depending on the region.
