Khagaria

Khagaria is a district in the Bihar State of India. Total area of Khagaria is 1,486 km² including 1,473.54 km² rural area and 12.46 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Khagaria has a population of 16,66,886 peoples, out of which urban population is 87,159 while rural population is 15,79,727. Khagaria has a sex ratio of approximately 886 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 1122 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 3,28,823 houses in the district, including 16,106 urban houses and 3,12,717 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 245 villages in khagaria district.
