Purba Champaran

Purba Champaran is a district in the Bihar State of India. Total area of Purba Champaran is 3,968 km² including 3,844.25 km² rural area and 123.75 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Purba Champaran has a population of 50,99,371 peoples, out of which urban population is 4,01,343 while rural population is 46,98,028. Purba Champaran has a sex ratio of approximately 901 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 1285 inhabitants per square kilometre.
