Bijapur

Bijapur is a district in the Chhattisgarh State of India. Total area of Bijapur is 8,530 km² including 8,448.71 km² rural area and 81.29 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Bijapur has a population of 2,55,230 peoples, out of which urban population is 29,600 while rural population is 2,25,630. Bijapur has a sex ratio of approximately 983 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 29.92 inhabitants per square kilometre.
