Dhamtari

Dhamtari is a district in the Chhattisgarh State of India. Total area of Dhamtari is 4,084 km² including 3,985.51 km² rural area and 98.49 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Dhamtari has a population of 7,99,781 peoples, out of which urban population is 1,49,195 while rural population is 6,50,586. Dhamtari has a sex ratio of approximately 1010 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 195.8 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 1,70,951 houses in the district, including 32,496 urban houses and 1,38,455 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 619 villages in dhamtari district.
