Diu District is an administrative district in the union territory of Dadra And Nagar Haveli And Daman And Diu, India. It is situated about 340 km from Daman, the capital of the Union Territory. The district headquarters is located at Diu. Gujarati, Hindi and Portuguese-Creole are the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 39 km², including 27.34 km² of rural area and 11.66 km² of urban area.
