Panch Mahals

Panch Mahals is a district in the Gujarat State of India. Total area of Panch Mahals is 5,231 km² including 5,112.39 km² rural area and 118.61 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Panch Mahals has a population of 23,90,776 peoples, out of which urban population is 3,34,827 while rural population is 20,55,949. Panch Mahals has a sex ratio of approximately 948 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 457 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 4,46,611 houses in the district, including 67,963 urban houses and 3,78,648 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 1,198 villages in panch mahals district.
