Rajkot

Rajkot is a district in the Gujarat State of India. Total area of Rajkot is 11,198 km² including 10,399.41 km² rural area and 798.59 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Rajkot has a population of 38,04,558 peoples, out of which urban population is 22,14,050 while rural population is 15,90,508. Rajkot has a sex ratio of approximately 926 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 339.8 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 7,86,586 houses in the district, including 4,71,625 urban houses and 3,14,961 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 833 villages in rajkot district.
