Faridabad District, Haryana

Faridabad District is an administrative district in the state of Haryana, India. It is situated about 270 km from Chandigarh, the state capital of Haryana. The district headquarters is located at Faridabad. Hindi, Haryanvi and Punjabi are the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 741 km², including 522.58 km² of rural area and 218.42 km² of urban area.
