Jind

Jind is a district in the Haryana State of India. Total area of Jind is 2,702 km² including 2,626.74 km² rural area and 75.26 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Jind has a population of 13,34,152 peoples, out of which urban population is 3,05,583 while rural population is 10,28,569. Jind has a sex ratio of approximately 871 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 494 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 2,49,736 houses in the district, including 58,861 urban houses and 1,90,875 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 302 villages in jind district.
