Mewat

Mewat is a district in the Haryana State of India. Total area of Mewat is 1,507 km² including 1,441.71 km² rural area and 65.29 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Mewat has a population of 10,89,263 peoples, out of which urban population is 1,24,106 while rural population is 9,65,157. Mewat has a sex ratio of approximately 907 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 723 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 1,60,280 houses in the district, including 20,305 urban houses and 1,39,975 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 412 villages in mewat district.
