Rohtak is a district in the Haryana State of India. Total area of Rohtak is 1,745 km² including 1,639.02 km² rural area and 105.98 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Rohtak has a population of 10,61,204 peoples, out of which urban population is 4,46,164 while rural population is 6,15,040. The district has a population density of 608 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 2,06,988 houses in the district, including 89,538 urban houses and 1,17,450 rural houses.
