Rohtak

Rohtak is a district in the Haryana State of India. Total area of Rohtak is 1,745 km² including 1,639.02 km² rural area and 105.98 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Rohtak has a population of 10,61,204 peoples, out of which urban population is 4,46,164 while rural population is 6,15,040. Rohtak has a sex ratio of approximately 866 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 608 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 2,06,988 houses in the district, including 89,538 urban houses and 1,17,450 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 136 villages in rohtak district.
