Bandipore is a district in the Jammu & Kashmir State of India. Total area of Bandipore is 345 km² including 295.37 km² rural area and 49.63 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Bandipore has a population of 3,92,232 peoples, out of which urban population is 65,361 while rural population is 3,26,871. Bandipore has a sex ratio of approximately 888 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 1137 inhabitants per square kilometre.
