Bandipore

Bandipore is a district in the Jammu & Kashmir State of India. Total area of Bandipore is 345 km² including 295.37 km² rural area and 49.63 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Bandipore has a population of 3,92,232 peoples, out of which urban population is 65,361 while rural population is 3,26,871. Bandipore has a sex ratio of approximately 888 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 1137 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 58,392 houses in the district, including 9,598 urban houses and 48,794 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 119 villages in bandipore district.
