Kishtwar

Kishtwar is a district in the Jammu & Kashmir State of India. Total area of Kishtwar is 1,644 km² including 1,643.37 km² rural area and 0.63 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Kishtwar has a population of 2,30,696 peoples, out of which urban population is 14,865 while rural population is 2,15,831. Kishtwar has a sex ratio of approximately 919 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 140 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 45,209 houses in the district, including 2,710 urban houses and 42,499 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 155 villages in kishtwar district.
