Kishtwar District, Jammu And Kashmir

Kishtwar District is an administrative district in the union territory of Jammu And Kashmir, India. It is situated about 225 km from Srinagar, the capital of the Union Territory. The district headquarters is located at Kishtwar. Kashmiri, Dogri and Sippi are the main languages spoken in the district. The district covers a total geographical area of 1,644 km², including 1,643.37 km² of rural area and 0.63 km² of urban area.
