Pulwama

Pulwama is a district in the Jammu & Kashmir State of India. Total area of Pulwama is 1,086 km² including 1,047.45 km² rural area and 38.55 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Pulwama has a population of 5,60,440 peoples, out of which urban population is 80,462 while rural population is 4,79,978. Pulwama has a sex ratio of approximately 912 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 516 inhabitants per square kilometre.
