Rajouri

Rajouri is a district in the Jammu & Kashmir State of India. Total area of Rajouri is 2,630 km² including 2,608.11 km² rural area and 21.89 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Rajouri has a population of 6,42,415 peoples, out of which urban population is 52,314 while rural population is 5,90,101. Rajouri has a sex ratio of approximately 860 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 244 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 1,30,401 houses in the district, including 7,756 urban houses and 1,22,645 rural houses. When it comes to villages, there are about 375 villages in rajouri district.
