Udhampur

Udhampur is a district in the Jammu & Kashmir State of India. Total area of Udhampur is 2,637 km² including 2,593.28 km² rural area and 43.72 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Udhampur has a population of 5,54,985 peoples, out of which urban population is 1,08,208 while rural population is 4,46,777. Udhampur has a sex ratio of approximately 869 females for every 1,000 males. The district has a population density of 210 inhabitants per square kilometre.
