Sagam Block, Anantnag (Jammu And Kashmir)
Sagam is a Community Development Block (CD Block) situated in the Anantnag district of Jammu And Kashmir. It serves as the intermediate-level administrative unit under the 3-tier Panchayati Raj system, responsible for coordinating and implementing rural development programmes across villages in the block.
Sagam Block consists of 15 Gram Panchayats covering 21 villages. While these Gram Panchayats handle village-level governance, the block administration provides the necessary planning, supervision, and execution support for various development schemes.
